In one word 'WOW!'. This is a great presentation. I admire how organized she is in her learning and how very informed. She uses technology much better than many adults do. I heard about 'glogster' for the very first time and it is very interesting. I think I'm going to research to see if I can use this with my kids. The organization of her site reminds me of keeping a file cabinet in order, it was great to see this being done electronically.
At one point I felt a bit intimidated by how comfortable she was just going through the motions. I never thought that learning through cyberspace could teach responsibility but I stand corrected. Students like her would force teachers like myself to move with the technological era or we will certainly be led by our students. I would appreciate having such a student as she would challenge me learm more in order to teach her. This was certainly an eye-opening experience.
In addition to my being impressed with this student's performance, I went ahead and researched www.glogster.com and was pleased to see that this was a site I would readily use with my kids. Although a bit different from www.wordle.net that I use to help to make poetry interesting; I would definitely use it with my technologically adept students.
